I have had 2 sets of Toyo Open Country tires.
The first set 325/60/18's, were down to the wear bars at 20k, because of their width, I was constantly rotating trying to maintain an even wear. They rode and balanced perfectly. Les Schwab Tires allowed me $45. 00 per tire towards my second set.
The second set were 285/75/18's, after about a week on the truck and a trip between Spokane and Helena, I was back to Les Schwab complaining about unbalance and bouncing... . We went through about a dozen tires on their spin balancer, to find four that were not out of round and I would accept.
I never did get used to their rough ride, comparing them to the 325/60/18's. Back to Les Schwab, I will say this, Les Schwab wants to please, I received full credit towards the Toyo MT's that I an now running. So far the MT's have lived up to their hype, as far as ride and noise, they are very quiet for such an aggressive tire, and the ride is great, longevity is yet to be seen. For their cost I am hopeful...
