Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tips for a clutch install

The UPS guy (my new best friend) dropped off the SBC 13-1. 25 Con OFE this afternoon. I began reading in the Haynes manual about installing this thing, but in the past Haynes tends to add "extra" steps, which end up taking more time than necessary. I am wondering if any of you all have developed an effective method for installing a clutch.
