Tire inflation

I keep having to take my truck back to the dealer for tire pressure indicator dash warnings. Any suggestions or comments?

Well, I've never had mine give the no pressure reading -- deal, but I often get erroneous warning light for low pressure, even though the pressure shows good. Usually after a few restarts the warning goes away.

Thats means it’s not receiving a signal.

Has the dealer replaced the sensor?

If so, have the tires rotated and see if the issue follows. Could be the receiver too.

Yes, tire rotation is the way to test that out.

I have had three of my six do exactly that. I did a soft reset and it went back to normal. Did it again and then went to normal and been good for a while now.

Them damn tps they are using ain't worth a I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER. Had one replaced on mine now another one has gone whacko and now another one has done the same thing. Dealer says they are on back order lots of them going bad. Probably made in china.

The dealer replaced all four for me and said there was a recall on them. Not a full blown recall though she called it something else. Anyway all is good now, and thanks for the replys.

I have had this truck over a yr and they still have them worthless TPS on back order. I wish they had a way they could just delete the damn thing. I get tired of seeing that TPS light. Are Chevy Ford have trouble with this crap?

Four or five states require TPMS to be working correctly to pass the annual safety inspection. So, no TPS, can't drive the truck. Lucky you're not in one of those states! Hawaii, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, maybe some others.

The right front in mine recently started showing 254 psi. I've noticed that it works just fine for a while, but once the tires heat up it shows 254 psi.

Ram needs to get there I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER together with these TPM. Stop buying this damn china crap. The dealer tells me other makes of trucks are having this problem too. I do not know about that the fellow might be trying to blow smoke up me ass. My son has a 2020 Ram and as of now he has not had any problems. This is just going on to damn long.
