The correct way to do it is to have truck weighed and use the TRA load tables to look up the correct tire pressure for the load. Post your tire size and I can get you close.

I've had good luck running 70 up front and 55-60 in the rear SRW my long bed (not loaded). 60psi + in the rear unloaded has shown some center cupping so I run 55.

Towing I run 80 front and back.

Probably more front than you need depending on tire size. My 06 3500 with 295/70-18 only needs 45 front even though I run 50-55. Door tag on stock tires is on 65 if I remember correctly.

^^^ That maybe be true. I rotate every 5K and depending on how they look, I'll adjust PSI.

I went back and looked at calculations I have done on my 2006SRW and 2018DRW. I used the axle measured axles weight for the 2018 as they were a bit heavier than the 2006. I calculated based on a 275/70-18 tire since I ran that for awhile on my 06 and I'm not sure what the 2014 stock tire is. Calculations showed minimum pressure to carry a 5660F and 3500R load is 55F and 35R. To provide a 10% margin for temperature and load fluctuation I would recommend running 60-65 Front and 40-45 Rear unloaded.

When I load my cabover camper I don't see any real difference in front loading and a 5er would be about the same. A bumper pull with a weight distribution hitch could raise the front loading some requiring the front pressures to be increased but without weighting there is no way to be sure. The Cab over camper and 5er shouldn't require any change in front pressure and the rear should probably just be taken to 80psi when loaded.

I am in an area, where I cannot get my truck weighed. Tire size is LT 275/70 R 18. So if you can help me get close, that would be great!
Thanks again!

Just picked up some 295/70/18 Falken Wildpeak’s Any recommendations on a decent starting pressure.

2018 3500 qc short bed

I run LT295/70-18E129 on my 06 but I'm going to use the heavier weight of my 2018 for the calculation.
Front /Rear Unloaded Axle Weight 5660/3500
Tire Load 2830/1750
Min Tire Pressure 50/35
+10% Tire Pressure
55/39
