So far, I love these tires. Honestly though, I haven't had much time to really test them out. My truck is heavy. I have a small camper on the back, custom bumpers front and rear with a winch up front, and extra H2O and Fuel on the rear bumper. When they were installing the tires, they had to use a floor jack in addition to their big lift, because my truck was straining their big lift. Having said that, I had them put 50 PSI in the rear and 55 in the front. The tires are rated to 65 PSI. At 50-55 PSI, there is no squat in either the front or the rear AND the ride is similar to what my old BFG M/T's were like at about 35 PSI, except that there isn't any sway in the tires on tight cornering. As far as noise goes, you do hear them, but they don't howl like a swamper tire. I find the noise to be less than what I heard with my BFG's.
These tires are beefy! Even the sales guy was commenting on how aggressive they look. I checked them out before they went on and I am guessing that the sidewall is about and inch and a half thick. I compared it to a Goodyear MTR and it is definitely thicker than the MTR.
I am running T-REX/KORE suspension with stock alloy wheels (16x8)and there is no rubbing except when I turn the steering to a full lock, they do push up against the control arms. Again, I haven't had a chance to really pound this off road yet, but so far, it seems like there shouldn't be any clearance problems. The handling is great, but keep in mind that I've also got a lot of air in there right now. At 50-55 PSI and the KORE suspension, it is pretty surprising what you can do in a 9000 pound truck.
I hope this helps. IMO, this tire is the obvious choice if you are looking for an E rated tire. You can run it hard off road, and you could also tow with it. Not a bad combination
