tires, which ones?

i'm replacing the tires on my truck whick currently are 265/75r16 c rated, ( i didnt install them, previous owner did) and want to replace them with a e-rated tire. i like the look of the michelin ltx m&s but are they the best? any suggestions? kinda want to stay with stock size (245/75r16)

I'm currently running Cooper Discoverer S/T 265/75/r16 which is E rated and can handle up to 3415 lbs. They are the next best thing Iv found to replace the stock Michelin that came on the truck. They are wearing very evenly and not noisy at all.

I have around 18,000 miles on mine right now.

Very pleased with them.

Michelins have generally given me the best milage, but the tread compound has more to do with that than brand.

I like this site because it allows you to scan several tires at a time comparing them for the trade offs with different compounds. Interesting to see how it works.
