I'm happy with the price I paid... Heck, I gotta spend the $$$$$ otherwise I'm giving it to Uncle Sam and the leeches of society who don't deserve it. It's registered under my business so I pretty much write off 90% of it.

I remember when I bought my 2006 2500 Laramie MegaCab.... The window sticker was $58,700 after all the options!!! What a difference 13 years makes.

On another note.... Look what just got delivered just in time!! My 5 gallon pail of OptiLube XPD to keep my new fangled CP4.2 pump happy. Nice to know the new rig has only run about a 1/4 tank of fuel through it... 125 miles on the ODO. I've added this stuff religiously to every CTD I've owned. My 06 would get a quart of Lucas Synthetic 2-Stroke oil now and then but I don't think you can do that with all this exhaust treatment stuff under the hood these days.

You will have to let us know how much of the truck turns purple with the iron-x. See how much rail iron is hanging around. It's also a good idea to use it once in a while because all the rest of us are leaving iron particles on the roads when we use our brakes.

FACT IS I ordered my 15 with ZERO down and did NOT have to buy it when it came in. I also got invoice PLUS incentives.

you should be getting a refund for incentives!!!

Here is my order sheet showing retail $73,155, then price paid $66,343 rebates came off that price.

My discount without rebates $6,812 without a penny down and did not have to accept upon delivery.

I was wrong when I said "The truck as built was $77,345"..... It was actually $77,735.00, I got $4735 off, The 2 incentives they worked in were... Being a business owner AND brand loyalty. I did not have to put down a deposit when I placed my order July 9th nor was I under any requirement to purchase the ordered vehicle. The dealership also threw in for FREE a full set of the Limited premium carpet floor mats. As for my MaxCare 8/125.... That's another HUGE savings. So yes... I got a deal and this truck is worth every penny paid. While I was waiting for the truck... The dealership had a huge sale and there were several 3500 limiteds fully loaded with the HO CTD and rear air suspension.... They had window stickers north of $84k but were sale priced at $72k. My salesman would have gladly sold me one of those but it wasn't what I wanted even though it had more. With all the options I added... Mine is pretty much a "Limited" minus the different style LED headlights and the few bits of interior trim, steering wheel and badging.

All said... I am VERY happy with my purchase. If some of y'all got better deals on pricing then good for you.

May I ask why you choose not include the Aisin transmission and the included HO engine? Seems like cost would not have been a limiting factor.

Just didn't need it and for the most part I think the difference would be negligible for an extra $2,659..... At least in my application. I'd rather spend that on my bumpers

I did get the LED headlights... Just not the ones that come on the Laramie Longhorn or Limited. There are 2 offerings in the LED headlight department but the "fancier" ones are offered only to those last 2 trim levels.
