OK, Now that I’ve got the ’01 to do 60-to 111 in 5. 2. What wire do I cut? Where does the resister go or whatever! I’m King of the slow lane but I want to play in the fast lane. I really get pissed when the Porsche I just blew away at 80 eats my lunch after my dumb a$$ ECM shuts the truck off at 111. How do I get the ’01 to turn 3200 in OD and not quit at 3050? Why does the cruse control stop at 85? Help me out here guys! Maybe an OD for my OD? What do you think. :p  :D

Jim... ..... you don't need to cut no wires... ... ... ..... your enough of a lunatic behind that wheel:D :D

So, how do you like your new toys???

OH, BTW... ... ... ... ... ... ..... if you loosen the cap... ... ... ... it's gonna leak:D

Heard about your stories from Fred and Scott.

Still 2 slow

George! You know better than to believe Scotty or Shine boy. All Scotty wants to do is sells me used parts :p and Shine boy just want to test ride for cheep thrills:rolleyes: Come on! Sombody tell me how to get this thing to turn 3200 in OD!!:D

Man, when my truck hit's 105 and is still pulling like a freight train, I always start wondering about my tires and slow down. What kind of tires are you running that you are comfortable with at that kind of speed?

I run Michelin’s. I've had them up to 111 which is all the 01 will run. The ECM won't allow the Cummins to exceed 3050 rpm at WOT in OD. Vietnam taught me one indisputable fact. If it's your time to die you do. If not, Live large !

JES, If you want to be able to turn more than 3050 AND go about 125 mph, I'll trade ya for my v-10? I can spin it up to about 4900, then the limiter kicks in. I even have the DTT stuff ready to go in (Dec 22).

So, how about it ;) :D

Jiff,go over to Scotty's shop and see that V10 w/ a paxtion on it. Why would I want something that only runs for 75000 miles then blows up? :p

75000???

yea, 75,000 if you are lucky. Lets see here, 75000 miles * 3 gal/mile = one hell of a lot of money. Glad I have a diesel.
