just put an edge comp box on a friends 5-speed 2000 this morning, the only modifications before the box are a k&n filter and staight piped. he is running a westach gauge and on 5X5 he is only seeing about 23lbs of boost and 650to 700 in the egt range? his stock clutch doesn't slip on 5X5 and i was under the assumption he would have to turn the box down to be safe on the clutch? these were just empty runs with no trailer. does this seem right? thanks for the input, jon

I would have to say that the pump wire probably isn't peirced properly. All of the readings should be consdierably higher. Does he have a lot of smoke on 5/5?

if it wasnt' pierced right, wouldn't not run at all, or ? there really isnt alot of smoke on 5X5 and it cleans up fast. and no clutch slippage.

5X5

On 5X5 you should smoke like a freight train. The comp is a E-Z with the wire not pierced. I belive that it took about 3 weeks to slip mine but once you do that's it it WILL get worse over time. I ran for 4 months with a slipping clutch. Eric
