I recently installed a comp. drag box in front of a stock transmission(auto)w/90k miles on it. In leval 5,at+120hp. I feel the r. p. ms creeping up. Is know the time to find a local trans. shop to instal an a. t. s. converter and valve body?

Any good referrals out there? So cal area.

With that many miles, you will need a rebuild.

With-out taking it apart. you (no-one) don't know what is slipping. !! It could be the converter clutch, but could be either of the front clutches-forward or direct- and or the od clutches.

Do a search before you spend your money.

best place is Bellflower Transmission, in Bellflower, had my stage 5 done there in Feb, did a great job and they were pro's... . you will love your ATS. .
