Diesel Power,

Is 12. 10 @115. 6mph your best time? I saw it posted in a different thread. Im just curious because you talk like you have the baddest common rail diesel, auto, single turbo.

I just went to the track for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. I watched AK Ram's videos over and over, and talked to Dusty just to figure out what to do. My first 2 passes were less than 4 tenths slower than the time you posted.

This is with a Full Billet HTS, tst 5x2, Crazy Dog with tq man. and a sps66.

Im not mouthing at all. I am just trying to find out if a cp3 mod, injectors, and a rail cap only give you 4 more tenths... .

Apperantly you must be running faster than the low 12's. Right?

yes its the only time i have currently, it was the first pass on the new combo, and after alittle tweeking i sure we can get 11. 80's or better i mean my 60 ft was 1. 53 and i finished the run @ 115. 7 ---thats got 11's all over it, to be honest i have a measly stage 1 cp3 on my truck now, but my new set up which is propritary will be here this week, it is the only of its kind in the country. Oo.

I can't find the button, so I figure if I say it out loud enough, it will magically happen.

just go back to cummins forum and stir it up there :-laf

I havent tuned either. It was my first time to go to an actual drag strip. Well I take that back. The first time was 11 years ago when I was 8. What did you run with stock cp3, stock injectors, no rail cap?

Im happy with my times but kind of disgusted because I know I have more to go before I have to get injectors.

the first part of your replie is cool, i will do that -------------the second part i have no idea what your talking about, remember there are two sides to every story, better yet to prove my point----let john or scott post what you just did on line, i bet it dont happen!!!

you have no idea? Well the comment you made about stage 2 cp3 you did in the open on another forum, I will find it and post it for you. The second came straight from the guys at Floor IT. I am more than certain it is true from the way you told everyone you were a first hand dealer for the pumps and you mentioned several times on here that NADP was building the pumps. Turns out you buy them from NADP who buys them from Floor IT.

I really have no issues with you, just want you to know what is going on before you speak. It seems as though it is not you getting yourself in a bind talking this stuff, most of it has been "hearsay" and believe what you want, but almost all of the guys on the TDR know better. Most just ignore it.

Imills, you forgot one last step! :D

Actually, I am not positive on this so I don't want to say for sure, but I think that is incorrect. The cp3 that industrial is working on is a totally different set up. I do know the test the cp3's for John, but that is only because the have the bosch test stand to do so. I am more than certain that John is handling his own modded cp3's

Floor It doesn't buy them from II. II tests them like lmills said.

from the cummins forum thread

"i have seen alot of problems with the modded stage 2 cp3's--------mainly returning to much fuel and causing them to pop at high rpm or run out of fuel, i bet thats what you guys are seeing!!! "

and johns response

"Those problems were isolated to a few pumps. a certain jig was off at the machine shop and caused a small problem. The other problem was the electronic fuel control solonied were brand new and were Bad!! The problems at this point seem to be all gone so far. "

oh yeh, and like I said this was something that you had heard and quoted. You should have checked with John first before throwing something like that out. Posting false statements like that can hurt business especially on a new product that you are trying to sell. So bring it up to Mason Dixon and lay some smack down on some ricers. We have a second gen dually running 14's that everyone thinks is fast.

first off, you dont sell the volume of pumps or related items items as i do---so with that said how can you tell me whats good for bussiness, i know about things that have happened with these pumps, and john will tell you at one point the stage 2's had problems---which with the help of I. I. he fixed. all i was trying to do was to give you another option to look at when i posted that.

can we end this personality clash and go on with the topic. thank you

#1. John buys the cp3 pumps from Industrial Injection. #2. Industrial Injection also has a modified cp3 pump that is 10 times the size of the stock cp3 pump. It's in Brett's truck. #3. John (floor-it) does modify these stock pumps. #4. when the pumps are modified they are sent back to II for testing. #5. If the pumps are "OK" they are sent back to John. ( I have seen the modifications, and the testing at industrial injection). This is just good business between the two of them, and insures quality control. I know John and he pioneered the modification. I wish his company the best of success.

No rumor, no hearsay, just facts. :p

I agree with all of the above...

The Cp3 that I. I is working on I think is called the "CP3. 4" - Should be bad to the bone, I have also heard it is rediculously huge - I mean actually size, really big.

I think this open market of Cp3 mods is great, Looks like 3rd gen are on the way to take 12v power. Mad dog made high 800s on #2 only, I wonder how far are we from that on a 3rd gen???

Word of warning - that tq mangmt removale is VERY hard on transmissions. It is also very hard to control launch boost. With practice, I'm sure it'll work, but my first time trying it the transmission said NO. Blew something in the trans. Boost was just too crazy fast. I'll be posting elsewhere about my destruction later. Truck is on the way home, thanks to a very good friend, and I will be meeting with it in a few hours.

TWO THINGS THIS WEEKEND,

First I have just seen the proof of what the Bully dog TM program does (as Diesel Nut has said), IT WILL FRY A FULLY BUILT AUTO!!!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE to say the least about the power thats on tap while lauching, FULL FUEL!!!!

and second, I seen the new pump on Bretts truck with my own eyes yesterday, all I can say is its moving a ton of fuel, with 100 PSI of fuel pressure they had some problems with the FASS, after getting it all worked out that truck can haul the mail!!!

Wade I think once they get thier truck dialed in you wont have the fastest CR single charger truck on #2! They only made one run and it was pretty impressive.
