If I can get my 60ft times down where they should be I'll be in the low 12s.

Yeah, I'll let ya know what went south tonight.

With the way it looked trying to lite and creep on the line there is some power being built on the line.

BTW DN, I was the one talking to you by the starting line about your transmission and the BD TM right before the Matco/Snap On race.

It was a Suncoast. I think we blew something out of the valve body, because the dipstick shot out and was wdged between the radiator and the battery cable and there was about 3-4 quarts of atf laying on the track.

I couldn't control the boost. I wanted to launch at 30 psi and the boost took off to 45psi and I actually launched just to save the trans. It didn't like that. So, we are taking it apart tonight and will let you know what failed. I'm not blaming Suncoast at all for this failure. 45psi of boost while staging you can only imagine wht the pressures must have been like. We'll see!

Mattymac - It was good to see ya again. I love these events becasue you get to see so many people and meet so many new people. Even a guy with a stock truck can really enjoy these events.

TWO THINGS THIS WEEKEND,

First I have just seen the proof of what the Bully dog TM program does (as Diesel Nut has said), IT WILL FRY A FULLY BUILT AUTO!!!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE to say the least about the power thats on tap while lauching, FULL FUEL!!!!

and second, I seen the new pump on Bretts truck with my own eyes yesterday, all I can say is its moving a ton of fuel, with 100 PSI of fuel pressure they had some problems with the FASS, after getting it all worked out that truck can haul the mail!!!

Wade I think once they get thier truck dialed in you wont have the fastest CR single charger truck on #2! They only made one run and it was pretty impressive.

oh there is no doubt, brett and the rest of the guys deserve it! Industrial and NADP, and a few others are the reson why my truck kicks butt. Oo.

Oo. well me and robertp were testing alittle this weekend and after many impressive runs the stage 1 pump died and i mean died----lets just say that the truck was awesome before this, now i think that even lmills could keep up. :-laf :-laf :-laf just kidding :D

thats just mean :D

We have 3 Triple Dog downloaders with the new torque managment/defueling program in them. They need a new home.

Sorry if I don't jump at the opportunity! :-laf

Well, thats what happens.

Just an update - the input shaft is fused into the ssecond gear cluster. The clutches must be really fried. We can't get it apart. Sending the whole unit to Suncoast tomarrow.

What Suncoast mods did you run? Was that the full race/full billet that blew? I suppose, even if it was,. . 45psi of boost is a might over the top. Pls advise.

It was fully built transmission. One of the first billet 3rd gear drums from Suncoast, all the shafts, everything. Right now it looks like the clutches for either 1st or second gear are just fried. 3rd gear drum came right out, but the input shaft wont come out. So, I am just going to let Suncoast deal with it.

After a launch like that, I am not shocked at all it let go.
