Well its going to be at least another month before I take reciept of my new 2014 2500 Tradesman. And I'm going to need to install towing mirrors, as well as my buddy that just picked up a used 2014 2500 4X4 Laramie without towing mirrors. My question to TDR land, are there any good deals on towing mirrors? If possible can you provide links if your aware of any deals.

Why did you not order with Tow Mirrors??? To my knowledge...there may be more to it than just a mirror swap; it might involve an additional module as well as dealer programming.

It didn't for my 04.5, that didn't have towing mirrors, but the tow mirrors was not a problem installing them. The truck was a left over 2014 reg cab 2X4 tradesman. The dealer didn't order it with them, as well as a brake controller, but the company demanded an OEM brake controller be installed, if they were going to purchase it.

Lottttttttts of changes since 2004.5......Today's Tow Mirrors (2013 & up) now have the ambient air temperature sensor in the driver's mirror. The Tow Mirrors also have LED "puddle" lights as well as LED turn signals. Really good chance you'll need mirrors, modules, mirror switch, and dealer programming for everything to "click" with the CANBUS system.

Thanks for the info, maybe I can get the dealer to reprogram them for free, if I install them and the requried parts. But it is a Tradesman with power heated manual fold in mirror's.

There are a couple of threads to convert to the 2015 power heated trailer tow folding mirrors. You can search for that if that's what your mean. Are you trying to have just the chrome heated power adjust mirrors or do you want the power folding option also?

Why not have the dealer do the whole swap out! Cut a deal on it! Pay for the parts and ask them to throw in the labor! Snoking

Asked already, was told I should buy them online, that they would cost to much through them, but it's a good idea, and I'll go over his head when I get it.
Thanks SNOWKING
