JNutter, Here in Utah the speed limit is the same for all vehicle, although there are some canyons where anything over 10,000 GVW have a slower speed limit. The one I tow all the time is 65 instead of 75, but unless you have a sport car most cars don't drive much faster than 65.

Romeo here is the MTO site http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/trucks/ this is for Ontario, the regulations vary quite a bit across Canada, in Ontario the are generaly fewer restrictions than other places in Canada. Speed limits are the same for all vehicles unless posted as different. All vehicles that are considered a truck carry comercial plates, starting at the same cost as a car up to about 8400 lbs gvw. From what I understand you are required to scale any trailer with 2 or more axles regardless of what you tow it with although it does not seem to be enforced and our scales are badly understaffed so are frequently closed. Two other sites you could try http://www.ontruck.org/ and http://www.truckline.com

That rv safety site is not correct unless it is just listing secondary or 2 lane limit as the limit in NM is 75 for all vehicles on Interstates and 65 on 2 lanes

guess I'll start looking for sone 4:10's for the truck . #ad
