That ain't no jeep! That there is a bonafide 1978 toyota Land Cruiser FJ40.

Common mistake, I get that all the time.

MMiller,

What length is that trailer you got their?

Mine is a 40' (one of the first picts in thread), was wondering how short you can go and still get 2 trucks on it. Although it looks like you are a little light on pin weight with yours.

Looks like a PJ Trailer, I like their stuff.

That Farm & Fleet looks just like the one here in Rice Lake, but then they all look the same, LOL

Thanks for the edit, someday I 'll get that figured out!

Mopar-its a 32' B&B trailer out of Farley IA. I wish it was 35 feet though. Its really tight with two LWB trucks. When hauling my 75 and my buddies bronco its good. I think I will make some extensions at the rear of the trailer. As can or cannot see I have no grillguard or front bumper on the 75, and a stock bumpre on the 90. It either of these trucks had anything custom, both would not fit! Pin weight is good. I have air lift bags to level the truck all the time. I like it that way, hate the headlights in the air. It pulls great. If there isn't enough pin weight the tow vehicle bounces all over the place. The b&b is a nice piece, pulls easily, and is powdercoated. It does have a pretty steep loading angle though. As with anything I see other trailers that I think would be better, but I can't complain. Its almost paid for, and I haven't spent any money on it except the payments! I have been watching your rides for quite a while. I haven't been on RCC latley. Did you get to ram jam last summer?

Nope didn't do Ram Jam, pretty much took the summer off.

The nice thing about my 40 is that it has a 5' tail and 5' ramp, I can get normal cars up on it that way with out draging bottom. Can get two fullsizes on with nothin haging off the rear too, its just alot of trailer to move around, but it pulls real good.

No worries, guess I shoulda cropped that butt out of there. :D

SKargo,

Take the smallblock out of tha vette and put it in the 'cruiser.

OR

Get a small diesel to put in there, like a small perkins. Seen it done.

JRG

PS - A diesel is standard in Australia, you can get one to put in it.

I actually have 3 corvette smallblocks laying around. I have no need really to do a swap. My stock 2F makes most of it's torque way down low, right where I need it in the rocks. I will be putting a gear reduction box on soon, and I should have all the power I'll ever need. I will rarely use it on the road anymore.

I did just get all my parts to convert it to full time propane, so I won't have anymore angle issues.

One of those australia spec diesels would be awesome though.

just ordered...

Thor Tahoe Fury 29 Toy Hauler. Ordered at the RV show this weekend, haulin' two quads (Honda 250EX, Honda 400EX), one dirt bike (Honda XR650R), and a 48 Willys CJ-2A if I ever complete the build!

Beast2B,

Tell me more about Thor Tahoe Fury 29 Toy Hauler, please:) How large is the garge area, what is the weight capacity, door size, and does it come in a 5th or gooseneck version:)

I've got a Honda rancher and 1947 CJ2a I take with me and I am in the market for a trailer with real living quarters.

I also wheel a 2000 TJ. I keep running into problems finding a RV style trailer big enough. I need at least 81" door height.

Needless to say, very cool setup!:D

Thanks,

Dave
