I have a 2015 3500 Laramie with TPMS .I had 3 of the readings on the dash not show pressure
I had installed Tire Minder after market tire monitors
The dealer charged me $ 60.00 to remove them and said they were causing the trouble, but the dealer did not install any caps
I installed metal valve caps now have the same problem 3 readings not showing
Back to the dealer and was told the metal caps are blocking the signal ,they removed them and this time they installed rubber caps
Waived the service charge this time. No where can I find information if this is true about metal caps
It seams odd that the same three tires have lost the signal but not the fourth

Anyone with any info on this

Thanks

It is ready correctly now ,but I just had it done 3 hours ago

It just seems odd that the same three always go out but not the 4th

Also why would all the steel calipers ,the aluminum wheels, body steel not affect it but a tiny metal cap in a rubber stem does ???

I think it is a load of crap

I use Alligators , German flow thru valve caps that are steel. All my sensors work. I know because they tell me that I am not running the prescribed 80 psi in my rear tires but only 45,( unloaded)

Might be a load of crap. But there are different part #'s for different years/models. And i think they scrapped some mid year and changed sensors. So what might work on my truck might not work on yours
