well, this forum helped me find another problem that i've been having. seems the wandering on the road is the track bar. now what brand part do i get and where do i get it. i seem to recall reading that the dc replacement will not last very long.

Don't have the problem yet but I see a lot of folks going with the NAPA (lifetime replacement) or this solution Trackbar

------------------
4-sale with less than 19,000 miles. '99, 3/4, QC, SLT, 4x4, ISB, 5sp, 3. 5xlsd, tow pac, HD tcase, tow mirrors, camper pac, White over driftwood, Mist gray interior.

Go with the Linstad part. The NAPA will fail just like the stocker. The Linstad replaces the weak link (plastic) with steel.

------------------
'94 3500 4x4, 201,000 miles, Never had a cat, Auto w/shift kit (currently under remodification), 3. 54 Gears, TST #5 plate, 235-85-16s, Rancho 9000s w/remote, Isspro gauges inplace of cupholder & Amsoil Bumper to Bumper. NRA member.
"Warrantee? We don't need no stinking warrantee!"

Extreme1, What is the Linstad part #? Where do you get one? I find myself needing track bar and rod ends also. DC wants about $500 for all and NAPA's about the same, but I want something that will last. I also heard Moog makes a track bar with steel innerds, but don't know the price. At least NAPA's warranty should replace for free unless they've caught up with us.

I installed the Moog track bar a month ago. About 150. 00 including tax with a lifetime guarantee. Linstad's was a little less, I believe 125. 00 plus shipping. I posted the part number for the Moog bar a while back.

RkyMtnRam, Follow the Trackbar link in BV's post. Buy the rebuilt not the kit, unless you are a skilled fabricator/welder.
