Trailer Connectors???

Hopefully soon I will be a Cummins owner. Wanting to add Titan Class V hitch, also my F-150 has a combo mount for 7 pin and 4 pin connectors mounted side by side. Looks very clean and good. Would like to add a set-up like this to the titan... anyone know where I could find a setup like this?

Ordered the towing package on your new ram and you will get both the 7 and 4 pin setup. Dodge started this in late 2001

The easiest way to go would be to order a Ram or to find a used Ram with trailer tow package. With the trailer tow package, the wiring is already at the rear bumper and brake controller is a four-wire harness that simply snaps into a connector under the dashboard. If you don't have a brake controller, consider Tekonsha or Draw-Tite. Personally, I think the Draw-Tite is better.

Is there some reason you need both connectors at the same time? I just use a simple adaptor that goes into the 7 pin and has the 4 pin on the other side. It's a lot less complicated. I didn't make it I bought it and it is only about 2 1/2" long.

Nah, Dont use both at same time, but I have been known to lose things and that setup you have both right there... plus it is a very clean setup.

I havn't checked myself but you should be able to buy the plugin harness from your Dodge dealer parts dept. as parts from the tow option.
