Trailer Wiring

I am getting ready to install my 5vr plug in the bed of my truck but have a question for those of you that are in the know. My 7 way connector is wired (color coded) to match the diagram on http://www.klenger.net//misc/7-Way Connector Wiring Diagram.gif

Which reads



White=common ground

Blue= electric brakes

Green=tail & license

Black= battery charge

Red=left stop and turn

Brown=right stop and turn

Yellow=center auxiliary



Now my question is in the towing package on the truck, what wires splice to which wires. The wires in the towing harrness on the truck don't match these colors... . TIA Phil

klenger, the pic was a little fuzzy. But this is what I took from it:



Plug Truck



black > red/orange

brown > brown/red

blue > blue

white > black

red > green/orange

green > black yellow

yellow > black



And I'm assuming that the second color is the color of the tracer stripe... . Thanks for the help! Phil

For you lucky folks with a wiring diagram for the 2003 trucks can you look up for me:



The size of fuse providing power to the brake circuit.



Where is the ground circuit for the brake control attached or located. Thanks.
