I've heard a lot about BD and how good they are on their up graded trannys, and also I've heard alot on DTT trannys too. I'm in the market for a new trans but can't decide which one would be best for me, plus I'll be installing it myself. The best thing that I have seen on the DTT's where thre convertors. They have custom tig welded stators built in a variety of percentages for diffrent applications that are more effective than milled stators. BD has a new 7x stator convertor thats suppose to be really good too. BD trannies are addvertised good up to 300 RWHP. I don't think I'll be going that high at the rear wheels for daily driving , but I want over 250 HP for pulling a trailer (the most being between 8,000 to 10,000lbs at the most every now and then), economy, and endurance, and haullin a** at the red light when I want to do a lane change
. I plan on running a 250 HP #11 TST plate to go with the new transmission. Also I'd like to find out how to make up the ends on my transmission lines too compression fittings, I'm still running the stock plastic quick connects. Thanks for any answers
