I'm installing a trans tremp gauge and was wondering which line is the hot line for the fluid going to the cooler, back or front of transmission. I'm assuming this is a good location to put it. Everywhere else I looked was a little less accessable.
Also what is the size and type of this fitting to get the right adapter T fitting to put the sending unit in.
Can I expect a lot of fluid to come out or is most of it sitting in the pan when truck is shut off.
Another wierd thing is going on. I've noticed my trans dip stick will not seat "completely" and it is reading past full. Could this thing be too long? Any dimensions I can measure to see. I checked the other day when warm, not hot, and it was at least 3/4" above the full mark.
Thanks in advance. I've learned the TDR group is eager to help, pyro threads fixed
