Ordered gauges @ Geno's today. Westach - EGT/Boost, Temp (for trans) & Fuel. Andy in their Tech Dept suggested I could use a B&M Drain Plug kit as the source to imerse the trans temp sensor in the fluid. I told him I didn't like the idea of the sensor lead dangling out the bottom of the trans pan. He suggested I could drill the side of the pan and also either braze or JB Weld the fitting to the inside of the pan. Anyone ever do this? Where's the best drilling location? I plan to braze Vs. JB Weld. I have this thing about gule and visions of burned out transmission due to fluid loss on the road side?
