trans weird

Anybody have a 48re that when its cold at 15-20 mph it acts like it wants to be in 2 gears at once. Mine starts jerking and the engine labors a little then I put my foot in it and its fine. Just wondering if anybody had any ideas.

This may be an easy fix... . Governor pressure solenoid. Drop the pan and it's right next to the filter with a couple of bolts. Replaced mine and it went bad again almost right away. There's a rebuild that's sposed to be better.
