I have in the past installed Trans go and B&M shift kits. They are OK for cars and maybe 1500 series trucks, but I would not think they would work well on a diesel. I have not found a person with a automatic/diesel that had a problem with the shifting of their transmission. The problem always seems to be it's ability to hold the power and not slip,Mainly torque converter related. The kits you described work to firm up shifts, by making the shift faster and reducing the buffer that is built-in which makes the transmission smooth. It worked well for hot street cars that liked to bark the tires when shifting, but I think it would hurt a full sized truck with a diesel, and it would not work towing at all. This is just my thoughts, if you do decide to install the kit please post back with your findings. I would be very interested to know how it turned out, Good Luck.
