If you'ge got gears 1-3 you can make it home on those, as long as your problem is strictly electrical. How about a little info to help us?

Is the fluid burned, maybe smells like burned brakes?

Does the converter lock up in third gear?

When you say you don't have overdrive, does it slip or never make the shift?

Are you close to another TDR Member?

The fuild looks and smells fine, The converter does not lockupin third gear and does not make the shift into high gear

Check Fuse #5, 40 Amps

Check Fuse #50, 10 Amps.

If either is blown, replace it, drive it and recheck the fuse. If a fuse is bad, something casued the fuse to blow, so give the harnesses a quick visual inspection to make sure it isn't burned, pinched or damaged, and carry some spare fuses for the trip home.

If you're mechanically inclined you can wire that trans to give you manual 4th gear and manual lockup with a couple of switches. To get 4th gear Ground the brown wire at Pin #21 at the PCM. This activates the 3-4 solenoid.

To get lockup ground the orange/black wire at pin 11 at the PCM.

You'll also have to put a jumper wire at the transmission control relay between relay pins 87 and 30, because if the PCM sees anything goofy going on with the transmission it deactivates this relay. This might also be why you've lost lockup and 4th, so at least try jumping the relay before grounding the wires.

have fun.
