I'm with steve, there must be something plugged, possibly the check ball. I run a transmission temp in my hot line towing 15k toy hauler in 100' traffic and dont go over 200, Prior to my 2nd cooler, now hangs around 190.

Have you cleaned around the puke bottle(specially between the radiator and intercooler) and flushed/cleaned your radiator?

Does your fan come on?

On my truck I have 2 of the biggest B&M coolers, stock cooler Mag 8qt extra pan and 1/2in lines. My temp sensor is in the hot side out of the transmission. No load stop and go trafic I will see 240deg at that point I will start poping it in N when stoped and it will drop my temps to the 220deg range. Once I get moving temps will drop to 180deg no locked and once locked thay will drop to under 150deg.

I think if I were to fire my truck up in the driveway set the Ebreak put it in drive and walk away for a few hr I could boil the transmission if I wanted.
