I recently changed my fluid and filter. While I had the pan down I wanted to increase my line pressure to limit slippage until I save for an upgraded trans that will handle my present and future power. I researched and found a link with directions and pictures of what I thought was the correct adjustment screw. I used a 3/16 allen wrench(modified to fit between the case and screw) I turned the screw 3 turns counter clockwise. I read a post that said it was approx. 3 psi. per turn. I buttoned every thing up,replaced the fluid with ATF+4, and went for a ride. The trans at WOT won't make the 1-2 upshift until I lift. The screw I adjusted was a 3/16 allen that went through a steel plate and had a spring on the other side. Did I screw something up? I'm gonna drop the pan again this weekend to straiten it out hopefully. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. :) I am running my comp. on 5-5 most of the time.

I think it was on the DTT site. I forget I looked it up a while ago. I drew myself a diagram and worked off that. Last weekend was the 1st warm day I was able to work on the truck. I looked it up in the fall.

Raising the line pressure always effects the shift points. Some people notice some don't.

Some trucks start doing this and some don't.

Try lower pressure or get it to a performance shop that knows what needs to be done now. You may also be at the limits of a limp home condition.

It is a simple fix but I won't go thru it here, PM me.

Also a transgo kit is one option.
