I recently changed my fluid and filter. While I had the pan down I wanted to increase my line pressure to limit slippage until I save for an upgraded trans that will handle my present and future power. I researched and found a link with directions and pictures of what I thought was the correct adjustment screw. I used a 3/16 allen wrench(modified to fit between the case and screw) I turned the screw 3 turns counter clockwise. I read a post that said it was approx. 3 psi. per turn. I buttoned every thing up,replaced the fluid with ATF+4, and went for a ride. The trans at WOT won't make the 1-2 upshift until I lift. The screw I adjusted was a 3/16 allen that went through a steel plate and had a spring on the other side. Did I screw something up? I'm gonna drop the pan again this weekend to straiten it out hopefully. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
I am running my comp. on 5-5 most of the time.
