While you are checking out the above web site you may want to consider this.

The auto lock is nothing more than a mystery switch and a speed sensor set to dis-engage at approx. 30 mph.

Things to remember:

Everytime you forget to dis-engage od when de-excellerating, you are damaging your tc and your drive train.

You have to remember to accelerate to de-excellerate when comming out of overdrive.

Does not allow you to have 2nd gear lockup.

I predict that 2001 is going to bring a lot of good changes for the Dodge Ram owners as far as exhaust brake control systems are concerned.

I just re-read the Topic Title and it appears that you do. Bill is correct on the topic of the Torque Lock it is no more than a glorified mystery switch, only as good as the users ability not to make a mistake when using it.
