Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transmission module

I have a 2001 Quad cab with many engine mods putting out over 400 hp. I also have a ATS converter and valve body, which is great. My question is should I have a module for the trans since I have 35 inch tires and changed the gears. Will that help with the shift points? What is a good module?

Call ATS

by all means. I just installed their convertor and it is a new truck! They build a lockup controller which allows earlier and second gear lockup with no unlock while coasting. This may be what you want. I know of no aftermarket transmission shift controller for our trucks, but there may be one.

ATS also sells the EmJay transmission controller. It is the best controller on the market today. You will have three programmable settings that you can customize for different driving conditions. The unit also has some great features for an exhaust brake. It costs more but you get what you pay for.
