Not So!!!!
Stefan, I do take exceptions to your un wanted comments about Ken Jones. Like all other threads regarding transmissions you stick your nose in and turn the original question into " I'm the expert". You as a vendor should know better then to bash another. The original question from one of our members, gravedigger was " Looking for a good transmission shop around slc Utah to do a transmission upgrade on my truck. Looking to do either a DTT or ATS. Baker's Diesel out of Ogden has been recommended just wounder if this is a good shop or if their is any others to look into.
Thanks" The two recommendations was Bakers and Jones. You just couldn't leave it alone... The facts you mentioned are misleading and not correct. Ken Jones does not farm out any transmission work. It is done all in house. The builder friend you were refereing to is Russ Carrigan, of Carrigan Motors in Morgan, Utah one of the the best diesel fuel mechanics in Northern Utah. . To say either of them don't have the personal expertise is B. S. I know Jason of Bakers personally, and by the way he is a nice guy too. There are nice guys out here that do know what they are doing and do care about customer satisfaction. They don't need to get on this site and bash you. They have more class. You do the same thing about "Clint" of ATS. You and your DAD need to be more proactive and not reactive because you have turned me and others away from being potential customers.
