You got a complete DTT trans, and didnt go for the trans temp guage? Well i wouldnt worry about the temps on the road, the only time they will get hot is stop and go driving,if you encounter a lot of this, slide ths shifter into N while waiting at red lights, this allows it to cool down some,With my 89% i have never, ever got over 210 hot line, and that was plowing in a tight location for 20 minutes straight back and forth,at 11K lbs GVWR. normal temps run 115-135 with my truck empty, and 130-155 towing,I seldom see over 160 ,for more than a minute or so,these temps are hot line,so the pan temps are a little lower than theses.
