What do you mean you "lost" your overdrive. If you are in OD at 45mph and you hit 50mph it will jump out of OD? Check to make sure the blue wire that attaches to the wiring harness at the fire wall is connected to the correct wire. That is your TLC. Torque Limiting Calibration. It is designed to back the power off just before shifting and lock up. I have some transmission upgrades and disconnected mine.

WHEN I HOOK UP THE BLUE WIRE, THE TRUCKS RPM'S WILL BOUNCE AROUND BETWEEN 1900 AND 2600 TRYING TO KEEP THE TRUCK ROLLING AT 70MPH. IT SEEMS LIKE THE FUEL SUPPLY IS BEING CUT BACK. AS SOON AS I UNHOOK THE BLUE WIRE,I'LL LOSE OVERDRIVE, BUT RPM'S STAY MORE CONSTANT. DID I HOOK IT TO THE RIGHT WIRE? ITS THE ORANGE WITH A BLACK STRIPE?BANKS SAYS IN THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL "USALLY ITS THE ORANGE WIRE WITH A BLACK STRIPE". WHAT DOES USALLY MEAN?

IM A NEW MEMBER AND NEED ADVISE BADLY! 2 WEEKS AGO I INSTALLED A BANKS POWERPACK ON MY 1999 1 TON AUTO WITH 4:10 REAR. AFTER THE INSTALL I LOST MY OVERDRIVE AT SPEEDS OVER 50MPH!!!! I'M RUNNING 70MPH AT 2500+ RPM. IS THIS NORMAL? BANKS TOLD ME TO HAVE MY transmission COMPUTER RESET. TOOK MY TRUCK IN TO SERVICE AND DODGE SAID MY transmission WAS OPERATING NORMALLY. I NEED HELP. LEAVING FOR KEY LARGO FLORIDA IN 2 DAYS AND NEED SOME ADVISE. THANKS.

I would trust the advice of the techs at Banks before the dealer. Obviously there is something wrong with your transmission,I hate that when the dealer tells you something is ok when you know darn well it isn't. If they didn't reset the computer take it to another dealer who will and demand that's what you need done.
