Have a 1999 Dully, automatic, 3500 quad cab, Cummins diesel which I purchased new. Has 162,000 miles.
Had trouble with the transmission shifting back and forth between about 42. 5 mph and 50 mph.
HAD THE TRANSMISSION AND CONVERTER REBUILT. Now it shifts 2 or 3 times between 42. 5 and 50 mph when it is hot outside 85f and up, and going up a slight grade (no hills hereabouts in Virginia Beach). It does not do this when the OD is off. Took it back and the batteries were changed, the grounding checked, and "flashed".
Worked fine for about 300 miels and the same thing started,
The work was done by a reputable firm which advertises in TRD.
Any suggestions?
