A highly modded HX35 will not even begin to suffice a 12 mm plunger VE on steroids with POD,s. Perhaps if the cylinder head is highly polished/ported in conjunction w/ many other air in/out mods... ... ... ... ... ..... ?



i can see what you are saying gl. i have not even been into the pump yet but with the afc maxed i can put more fuel into this thing that it can come close to using with just a few turns of the fuel screw



i take it use the fuel that even one of these ve's can supply you would have to inst studs and o-ring the head...



what should i set the max boost at for a stock motor???
 
Don- I think you could do better in the EGT department with 190s or some EDMs instead of the PODs. I also think a larger intercooler/ piping will help you out. I have no experience towing with mine yet, but should this coming weekend. I'll report back with my results.

i heard i could even get better mileage with the ddp stg 3 or 4 inj



that banks intercooler is bigger than the stock one but you are probably right there too...



was also looking at that banks elbow thing

looks like it would flow a lot more than the stock 90



(i did port my 90) but it still looks restrictive



but then again... sometimes looks can be deceiving
 
I am the first person to save a buck but since I can't build turbo's I had to bite the bullet for an s300 and I have never regreted it. My 90 had the stock 50mm h1c with the banks intercooler kit and 2. 5 inch ic tubes. I ran a 14cm non gated housing. With the fuel maxed it made 301 HP but would peg the pyro at 1500 in a hurry with no load. I bought the 62/12 s300 and wow what a diffenence. I had to tune the afc for a little more fuel to get it spinning but it lights fast. It's a tad slower than the baby h1c with the 14 but it's way faster then it was with the 18cm. It hits the wastegate at 40 psi. When I had 40in tires 3. 54gears I could hold it to the floor from 65 to 100mph and the pyro whould not quite hit 1000 deg.



last night (less than 65° out) - 62/13 s. s. , still have the small inj in there (stg III's) cruising 65 mph, rolled into it and less than 2 seconds to 1200+



what gives?



dont say intake leaks, plz, the thing will make 40+ lbs at part throttle on a grade. 42or3 on flat ground dead in it. i have checked everything except the ic and even if it was leaking a little, what diff would it make? htt set the gate at 40. boost for the gauge is picked up at the manifold and it hit straight 40 lbs on day one.



this is with no trailer - dont even want to go hook up



wont spool worth a darn w/o fuel, give it a little fuel it gets hot

thats fuel ... and or load sounds like you need to live with that. . or get twins. . your truck is really high and has big tires a big load to move even empty ... . 1200 is fine all day long . . how high does it go? . some times it might spike up to 1400 or so and then level out around 1200 if you stay in it. and the turbo is working... . whats it do???
