Wouldn't you know it. I go in for service on the rear end again and now on my way from Phoenix to Vegas after getting fuel in Needles, CA truck seems to have a severe lack of power and seems to be missing intermittenly. Tach boucing seems to coincide with stumbles. Not severe, but there just the same. I stopped and drained some fuel from the filter, but no water present, not much in the way of crud.
Could very well be a bad tank of fuel? I am changing out the fuel filter today, and I have a really clean air filter.
Anyone got any suggestions as to what to check next???
I am in Las Vegas currently.
Please email me if you can.
BTW this is the truck that had the the rear end, 4:10 LSD replaced 6000 miles ago, now Dodge is going to have to replace the entire third member. Seems the 5 star dealer in FL that replaced (complete rebuild, $3400. 00) the differential tried to grind down the faces of the bearing race seats and forgot to set any pre-load. Oppps.....
Oh well, the truck goes back on Monday to Earnhardts in Phoenix and I feel pretty competent that the tech and the service manager are going to do it right this time.
Thanks everyone,
