Need help with removing valve body

Hey everyone i really hope I'm posting in the right section. I have a 2500 Dodge ram 5.9L. Today at lunch i pulled into my work and then it just died and i had to start it back up to finish the turn. Then when i parked i turned her off and then back on to see if she would start and i got nothing. here is the video to show what she does.

I'm just wondering what people might think it is so i can get her fixed.

Thanks,

Zach

How old are your batteries? Take a moment and fill in your signature with the truck details, (trim, model, trans, etc) as that'll help folks know what they are working on. Im thinking maybe a bad battery, or bad cable, or the like.

ok i will do that.my batteries are maybe a year in a half old.

I just dont understand i turned and my abs and brake light came on then i died and then now its doing this

My 06 will do some weird stuff when the batteries need to be replaced! As bcbender mentioned, check the batteries and connections as that's most likely where your problem lies.

Thanks! ill take a look i was wondering if it would be the starter.

Sounds like either your batteries or battery connections are bad...maybe even both !!!

If your crossover cable that connects the two positive battery terminals to each other is failing internally, then one battery can undercharge leading to overcharge of the other and eventual failure of both,

Be sure to check each and every battery and also ground connection as well as the internal condition of your XO cable.

ALSO, in hot climates, 2 years is about all you can expect for battery life these days.

@LivLogik, Have you had a chance to check cables to see if they're tight and not corroded? If you have a digital volt meter (DVM), you need to unhook the crossover cable and check the standing voltage on each battery. If there is more than 0.01 - 0.02 volt difference, have them load tested to make sure they're still good. As stated, heat kills a battery quick! Battery blankets protect them from the heat that our diesel soak engine compartment with. If yours are no longer there, you could wrap them with the foil bubble radiant barrier insulation and foil tape. Keep eyes open where any building is going on. Might find enough scrap or installers might help you out. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! i moved all the cabled and make sure there is all great connection and she started working again! you guys are amazing! :)
