larry,

We can still pull, although we will be last.

I only have me and maybe you, no one will respond to me!

The promoter has agreed to let me and whome ever else i can get to pull, to see if it works. If it does the other fare promoters are wanting to start hahing a class for us.

Maybe since I set it up without a pot, that did not help my situation either.

Well Here is my cell phone number: 816-506-4297 just in case you need to yell at me.

We could just meet in richmond since you will probably be taking 13 hwy.

Adam

Guys, I'm still out here. I am trying to put two trucks back together. I hope to have the Toy ready for Washington, maybe sooner.

Don

Adam, I have been waiting since Jan for a clutch and SFI approved bellhousing, for the Toy. I finally decided that was not going to happen, so I am going back with the stock 5 speed and blankets. Since I didn't have the Toy running, I've been using my tow vehicle in order to help promote the diesel truck pulling. Not having a good pulling clutch in it has caused it to go south on me. It still holds good, but I can't get it to disengage. During last weekends trip to Ind to get the parts for the Toy, I decided to join the guys up there for a pull. I managed to break the drivers side axle which then proceeded to destroy the carrier. So I am taking it easy until I can get all the pieces back in the right order.

Don

Don,

Bummer:confused: , sorry to hear that the rear axle went. I have a good factory limited slip carrier for 4. 10 gears if it will work. Good luck and let me know if I can help find parts for ya..... Have any idea why the axle broke? Larry

Larry

How far is Somerville from here, and when do you plan to leave?

I called today for the Callaway Co pull - you have to be a Callaway County resident.

I will try to contact somebody with some pull (no pun intended:-laf ) to see if they may do a diesel class.

470 miles.....

Matt,

Somerville is about 470miles. I'm flexible on when to leave but should allow a little time for traffic. Are you interested in going?

I hear you on the boss thing, today I got an offer to fly a Skybolt to the Oshkosh air show on Sunday. I'm going to miss the Lynchburg pull but Oshkosh here I come :D :D . Just got off the phone with Adam and we are going to pull at Richmond tomorrow night. He said they have two tracks and sleds and should be done by 10:00pm. My Dad is going with me so at least I'll get one pull this week. There is a nice size pull at Eldon Saturday night but didn't list a diesel class. May go check it out... ... ... Larry

yep it is tonight, things should start at 7:30. I'm hoping that maybe there will be people there that may want to pull with Larry and Me, but I guess we will see.

Adam

Larry, I would be very interested in that carrier that you have. I have been looking for a 4. 10 carrier for the One-Ton.

Don

Sorry I didn't get back earlier. I could not get anybody to go, sooo my wife told me we are going to her moms.

I had fun trying though - I called a friend and asked him if he had any hair on his chest yet. When he said yes I told him to borrow his dads new Chevy for the night and go line it up against cummins power - Even offered to pay his entry - he said it was just peach fuzz. :-laf :-laf :-laf

Don,

I really don't have any use for the 4. 10 but would like to trade it for a 3. 54 unit for my 2wldr truck. You can have it and maybe find me a 3. 54, find something to trade for it or if all else fails, I'll sell it real reasonable. Need to get with me though because I'm leaving for Oshkosh airshow on Sunday am. I just found a ride in a Skybolt and will call Dale to say that I won't make the Lynchburg pull. TDR guys need to get our trucks down there as the Powerstrokes have been winning:p :p . I've called and left messages twice for Kevin as I'm interested in buying his wrecked truck but haven't heard back from him.

BigYellowIron, affectionately know as Adam, made a great pull tonight at the Richmond. He soundly spanked a Duramax professionally driven. n Adam has a very nice 12 valve, auto equipped truck. Thanks for getting the diesels together!

Larry,

It was great to finally meet you. I really apriciate you taking the time to drive up and do the pull, even though we only got to pull once.

My family said that the crowd cheered louder when we pulled than when the tractors pulled.

I think that we got everyone interested in how the diesel pickups pull.

SOrry I did not post sooner but my aunt has been in the hospital and I have been spending time there,

Adam
