I got a GTECH from Genos, and I am wanting to see what kind of HP and 0-60/1/4 mile times Im running. To get the correct numbers you have to put in your truck weight.

I cant find a place close to home to weigh the truck. So I am asking you guys with similar setups that have had your truck weighed to let me know what your weight is. .

All my accesories are in my SIG below. The only thing missing is the back window that I had removed when the SNUGTOP went on. The Topper is fiberglass. The truck is a SWB also.

I'm pretty close to your setup.

3/4 tank of fuel

all of my work stuff and cold weather gear

tool box, full

2 spare tires, one with rim

fiberglass running boards front to back

ME (200#)

no topper

On scales at work 7520 LBS

 :--)

You'd be surprised how many truck scales are close to home, most for free. My favorites are closed highway weigh stations, just look in the window, scales are always on. Concrete plants always have scales also.

you don't need the wieght for 0-60 or 1/4. you only need the weight to figure out hp.

:--) WOW! My truck with all the options and a half a tank of gas wieghs 6760 with nobody in it. Maybe I Bought a gasser and didn't even know it. ;) :D

Chipstien, you have an auto, the 5 speed std trucks are almost 200 lbs heavier, the transmission is heavier,so is the dana 80 hybrid, the 70 and auot are lighter, this makes a big difference. My truc weighs the same as yours does, maybe another 45 lbs for my plow frame, thats about all. The 6 speeds weigh almost 200 lbs over the 5 speeds,so they are even heavier.

Hey triple seven whats shakin?

I am guessin your truck weighs about 7400lbs. At least thats what I would start with and if your high it will be a nice surprise.

Did you decide on some injectors for the truck yet?

Are you coming to the Dallas dyno event to slam down some numbers?

Don~

yep, with bells on! and many many ponnies

The poor ol dyno is gonna get a work out from us that day.

I made a trip to the dyno this past week for some tuning. Things are coming along nicely. More in the works Kat. Ill need it. . with you 24 valves guys with big turbos, big fueling boxes and injectors. Ill at least drink a few beers, roll on the dyno and drag race a little. I may not match you nitrous guys in HP though.

Don~

I will be at the Leisville dyno on the 16th. Probably wont run though. I got a JRE exhaust system installed and some fuel press gauges since the last dyno day.

I wont have the injectors by then. I think Im going with the DDIII's.
