Truck Weight-Wa. Registration

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Allison automatic trans (DMax) is "light duty"

How to test for turbo hose leaks???

Is there a specific weight that registration becomes cheaper? My truck weighs 6,840 pds. Should I make it weigh more? I'm going to try to get in tomorrow.

Wahington Charts for Fees

I am just getting up to speed on this as I considering a big trailer.

Here a Washington State site for truck fees.

Legally your required to register 1-1/2 times your weight empty.

I going to Bump my 2500 from 8000 to 10000 to be safe, or you might be over weight if your ever weighed when you above 8000. your 6500 require a minimum of 8000, next even number. That what mine is register for, but I believe it should be for 10,000 to cover the 8800 actual capacity, or 10,000 at 1. 5 times 6500 = 9750. You could probably justify 12,000 if you wanted.

I ot sure where this put you when your towing, There were huge fines given out in Pennslyania for truck trailer not being licenced for GCVW. Like $1000-$2000 a gig
