Truck won't start

I replaced the heater and ac cores, reinstalled the dash and the truck started and ran just fine. Reinstalled all the kick panels and the center console and now the truck won't start. Batteries are charged. Guages and radio do not light up. Off/ACC/Start button only lights up the Off light. Guages are ticking over and over again. No blown fuses. Have pulled all kick panels and checked the connections. No change.

I'm at a loss here and the nearest dealer is 100 miles away. Any ideas?

Whoops. Did this to myself when reinstalling the center console bolts from the passenger side. Managed to pinch the two wires (yellow and yellow with blue stripe) that run under the center console to the dash with the washer on the bolt.

It does! Good as new after splicing them back!

It's the little things that bite us in the rear! Whenever I'm under the dash routing wires for toys, I try to dress things up with more cable ties. Helps when you need to look up under dash and don't have to look through the spider web of wires. Use bright color tie under dash to help locate them and keep plenty around when needing to clip them and route new wires or repairs. Glad you were able to locate the issue and to remind us to double check wires when fastening up panels. I think most of us have had this happen at one time or another! Mine was many years ago when replacing the engine in my first ride, pinched a wire under a bracket and smoked the engine harness when hooking up the battery! Took many more weeks to remake said harness!

Yellow and Yellow is usually Airbag ignition wires, coming from the G-sensor under the console. Be careful with them.

It was a twisted pair of yellow and yellow with a blue stripe. That would have sucked to accidentally deploy.
