How would it compare to the smarty touch. I see they now have it out for new trucks

If it could be seen, my dealer would have found itcby now.
TS Performance website also list it as undetectable. It's not a downloader, simply intercepts the injector pulse from the ECU, alters its intensity and duration and sends the modified signal to the injector solenoid. There is nothing reporting back to the ECU like a pressure box.
My truck has been to the dealer so many times I've lost count,( not for engine related issues) and they have never found anything.

I had mine updated and put it on my 2016, seemed to work fine but I just recently switched to an Edge Juice with the CS2 display. I think the Stryker felt a little stronger, but I haven't messed with the timing and such in Edge. I do really like the display with the Edge so I've decided to sell the Stryker if you're interested.
