Derrick Borders of TS Performance defeats Matt Stuckey of Garmon's Racing to win the 1st ever Pro Street race in Atlanta.
Derrick and the TS crew did an awesome job improving their times all day and won the final round with a 11. 13 pass.
JeepyJohn of the TS team made it to the final round of street competition in his Ford and lost to a local racer. John's final pass, a 15. 40 on a 15. 39 dial in a close race. Way to go John.
Wayne Skeens of Indiana captured the manual transmission purse for running a best pass of 16. 38 in his 5 speed truck. This challenge was fun to watch all day. I'll do this again.
Congratulations to all of the winners. It is competition like this that makes this a fun sport.
I truly appreciate everyone that came out to support the event. I was great to see so many of you again and many new faces too. I want to thank my sponsors, TS Performance, Sun Coast Converters, and Garmon's Diesel for giving the Pro Street guys something to run for.
Thanks to Mike and Jamey for running the Dyno all day.
Thanks to my wife Penny, for leaving me some rubber left on the rear tires of my truck. (How many of your wifes have done 1/8 mile burnouts?
)
See you all next year.
