And with the 04 ECM running both the engine and automatic transmission (and cruise control functions) this should allow for doing this features not really hard.

What about the sales code info on this TSB? Can anyone tell me what ETC or ETH is? I looked on the engine data plate, door plate and window sticker but no sales code. Is there a chart somewhere that list sales codes and what they mean?
Thanks, I wonder if those codes apply to all 03's or if we have yet another for the CA SO?Originally posted by RankRam
ETC = Standard Output
ETH = High Output

Thats kind of a nice feature being all automatic if outside temp is 32 or less + engine is below 190 deg. you get 1000 rpm idle in 2 minutes. With the 18-004-04 TSB, owners will have to manually set and unset it for cold warm ups.
Its like disabling an automatic feature to have it manual. I have to admit it gives more driver control as I could see choosing maybe 1200 for warm ups unless of course you live in a very cold climate then 1500 would be the one I would go for.
The best feature would be for those needing a specific RPM to power other stuff
GREAT, Thanks for the info...Originally posted by JWillms
so with this TSB you get the manual high idle and the auto high idle to.
