TSB 18-037-04 & Aftermarket Injectors

I know there has been numerous posts recently in regards to the benefits of having the re-flash (TSB 18-037-04) done and I was all set to do it just in hopes of getting a bit better mileage. I have been a bit nervous about having this work done as I have not really experienced the white smoke issue and my mileage has been fairly good (18. 5 mpg and 12. 5 towing 13,000 #'s). I was wondering if anyone else with aftermarket injectors has had the reflash and whether you would recommend having this work done.

I wouldn't touch it! In my opinion that is awfully good mileage!

Obermeyer... what was your mileage before the injectors? George

George - Mileage before injectors was 15. 9 (hand calculated). I didn't get as much gain as those with the 3:73's with injectors, but 2. 6 mpg isn't bad and the extra power is awfully nice.

Obermeyer. . when I get back next week I will do a test with my DPU's for mileage and then get the TSB. Will document that on the thread I started regarding the claims of the injectors (60 Horse, 20 mpg and no EGT issues?) a few months ago. Absence and fuel tank remodels have kept me from following through. Chad and Josh at Dishman have been very cooperative. George

what size/kind of injectors did you go to
