I took my truck to the dealer for a transmission problem.
I was having my clutch put in a week after BOMBing the the mule to he!! and back and when the mechanic removed the shifter he found a whole bunch of brass filings. The top of the transmission looked like concentrated goldschlager and it was a full qt low on oil. I was watching so while they were getting the flywheel surfaced I called my dealer and explained the problem. He asked if I had had any problems shifting. I had a problem when it was new. . first thing in the morning it would grind 3-4 shifts unless you put the clutch to the floor.
He agreed to take care of the transmission under warranty. I think it was because I'd been in his shop a few days before and he knew I know my truck in and out.
It got really cold the next week. . 6*F. . BRRRRRR!! and the problem came back only a lot worse than ever.
Well I finally got it to them to get it fixed and they said there was a TSB on the NV5600 ... TSB 21-009-01. I get the truck back friday.
I was wondering if I could fiind out more about it. I tried dodgeram.org with no luck.
Does anybody else have a clue? I thought every other ETH owner would want to know about the TSB.
I got mine to the dealer w/250 mi left on the warranty. I'd hate to see someone buy a transmission.
Thanks,
Mark
