why did you say not lug the engine, I will put my TST on 4/5 and be in like 3rd or 4th and roll lightly into it or even 5th and 6th so it will smoke like H$#L I dont see that it is hurting anything, sure smokes out the ricers, LOL.

I've got gauges, exhaust and airaid.
Don't worry about huffing the stock turbo. It's pretty tough and small in diameter. I have yet to hear if a huffing failure on a stock turbo.WPeschel said:I'm also thinking about getting a TST, but everyone says not to let off the throttle too quickly. . What if you are takeing off and you have a manual transmission when you shift gears is that too fast????

Or even TST+injectors+pressure box, As I write this there are some being developed and tested that are standing up to punishing tests of all settings of TST+100 HP EDM's+EZ lvl 5! Oh yeah did I mention all that with about 1200 deg. at around a quick 35 PSI!!!
That is a possible cause for the turbine damage that's been happening. The tendancy for larger turbos to "huff" or "bark" to the point of failure can be primarily attributed to the additional rotational mass in the larger wheels.mattymac said:Correct Scott, very few cases of stock chargers getting fragged, as for the bigger ones, those are a diffrent story. Do you think that maybe because of the added duration on the higher settings (the ones that apparently do the damage) That the injectors are staying open too long in the stroke causing some flames or even fuel to be getting past the valves and causing the carnage? Just a thought.
