TST PM3 vs TST PM3 Comp Is there a diff?

I just ordered a TST PM3 with remote and then heard talk about a TST PM3 comp. Is there a difference or is the TST PM3 with remote the TST comp? Thx

Yeah there is.

The Comp will provide more fuel solenoid duty cycle level 5 and up IIRC.



It fuels alot harder on those levels mentioned.

Alot have had issues with surge and shuddering on the higher levels of the powermax comp box (I also did).



Overall though, the box will fuel very hard if not the hardest out of all boxes out there (next to the Blue Chip FMS and REDLINE boxes).

The Comp also delievers full fuel till 3500 rpm, instead of the stock backoff at 2700 rpm or so.

With the comp you are going to be over the duty cycle of the vp44. Thats a calculated risk you are taking when you do that. I think you have to sign a waiver to buy a comp. You will get plenty of power out of a straight TST PM3

Well, the TST PM3 w/ remote should be here on Monday. It will be a couple of days before I can install the Mach 4's. After that we'll see how the power is. The transformation will then be complete: Mach 4's, TST PM3, PS62/14, AFE Stage II w/ PG7, and 4" MBRP exhaust. Hopefully lots of grins
