Well, starts FULLY fueling at 12psi... which is why it can spool up those bottom turbos so much better (just ordered a box today with the twins program - will let everyone know on Friday how it works... and I'm no dummy - I'm keeping my original box, JUST IN CASE :))

So, enough of this... how'd the turbo come out??

-Tom

are you sure?

Mark told me (i thought) that the regular program starts fueling at 12psi, and is "ALL in" by 35 psi

BUT the twins program starts at 4psi, and is all in by 12psi --

I know when I nail the throttle, the ez gets it going, But when it hits 10 or 12 psi, WOAH!!! it just absolutley lets loose!

ANyway - I did not get a chance to get any work done to the truck, I tried asking my mom to come over for mothers day, but she declined, bummer

Hopefully this tuesday, or this wekend

Richard, have you changed out your ECM with a new one just to eliminate that as the problem? I don't know if throwing all those codes and not completely clearing them from the ECM may be the cause.

Someone with more computer knowledge chim in.

That's the only thing left to try but I'm having a hard time gambling $1300 just for a test. Odd part is that after installing the TST I may go 2 days without any problems but once it does it they just keep coming until it happens at every start. I can clear them and run without the TST for a while, re-install it and it starts all over again. I'm going to buy another used unit just to mess with over the summer as time permits. I just ran 2400 miles on the Alcan with the C3. 2 code free as always. If I find an answer I'll be sure to post it.

I talked to them the other day. They said that had one on their truck and it was working perfectly, but they haven't made it available for sale yet.

What are you reffering to?

Turbo, or new TST twins program?

I think he meant the new PMCR. I called them today, and apparently the new box has a different wiring harness and remote. I was told it should be ready in a month or so. I asked if it's available with the original twins program, and she told me yes. I can't wait... .

I talked to Dan at TST a couple days ago about the new box. He said that the old boxes and remote will be able to be re-flashed to use the new features (boost defueling, cool-down timer, etc. ) but you will need a new timing harness for the cool-down function to work. They are still working on pricing, but said it is about a month away.

He also told me that there are were only two programs available for the 04. 5+ trucks (Twins & New Version), but if you have an 03 or early 04, they have 2 versions of the Twins program to choose from (aggressive & regular) for a total of three different programs. They are now implementing a $50 charge for re-flashing, but if you are unhappy after the changes they will restore it for free.
