i guess with this box only that would put the hp to around 430hp or so what happens when you put this box with dd3's. is anyone working on getting more fuel. i have heard that you run out of fuel what is the remedy larger fuel lines?

The concensus I 've 'understood' (haven't done it myself; yet) is to put in the FASS if looking to run in the higher settings.

OTH; I've heard the FASS delivers way more fuel then even a radically turned up Cummins can swallow. Not a-lot of downside to returning a-lot of fuel to the tank I guess. My only 'concern' regarding the FASS is delivery pressure. I've heard it delivers at a significantly higher pressure then the stock pump? I've been watching for someone to have a way to regulate the delivery with a FASS. I. e. regulate the low pressure side.

Maybe all that's been sorted out... .

wow, just wow... so lets to the math...

stock ho dyno - 250 HP

add tst box - +150 hp

add DDIII's - +100 hp

add DD TTPM +80 hp

-------------------------------

So for about $2200, we could build a 580 HP common rail motor?

of course with enough fuel... (is there every really ENOUGH?)

Tomey, that sounds like a pretty lethal combination - adding fuel pressure to the already souped up mix? Where's your new turbo, clutch or auto trans upgrades in that equation? =]

tomey, from what I've seen Keith@ DD saying, once adequate fueling is established to the CP3 high pressure pump, the limitation is now the CP3 and the rail. As discussed in the injector thread DD doesn't do injectors larger than Stage III because the CP3 cannot keep up (fuel pressure in the rail drops and engine misfires). As I recall the Common Rail Cummins is capping out in the low-mid 500hp range, with the CP3 being the limiting factor. As I see it that's the next envelope that needs pushed in the quest for more power from the HPCR Cummins :)

by the way, I got my mowermax today, and i have it on right now

BUT. I have already threw a code, i have not checked the code yet.

I have not really got on it yet, but i will report later

Big Mak-the FASS system does not deliver higher pressure than the stock pump. From the factory the FASS comes either 10 or 16 PSI. Wide open on my 99 I can drop the pressure 2 pounds to 14. With the stock lift pump I had 15 at idle and I could drop it to 1-2 pounds at WOT. The volume of fuel that the FASS pumps is 5 times the stock pump. We checked this by pumping fuel into a 2. 5 gal can from each pump.

The TST box and A pressure box have allready been stacked. There is a gain on the lower settings but not at the higher ones. The CP3 pump can not keep up at that level, and that was with a 25psi pusher pump too! We now need a modified CP3 pump!

The 03's are not putting out close to 15 psi stock, more like around 9-10
